Our Products

At Zeffer we are proud to make our cider from fruit grown in New Zealand by good kiwi folk who share our passion for quality. We crush fresh fruit at our cidery in Matakana and then patiently, cool-ferment it for up to three months. Our ciders are dry in style with no added cane-sugar. They are unfiltered which gives them a natural haze and lots of flavour.

APPLE CIDER

Our Apple cider is a light, refreshing style with a green apple tang and earthy undertones on both the nose and the palate. It has a crisp, balanced acidity with a cleansing dry finish. No added cane sugar, artificial colours or flavourings.

PEAR CIDER

Our Pear cider is a smooth juicy little number with a light fizz and a hint of natural sweetness. It has lovely honey, guava and ginger characteristics. Low in acid it has a soft, full bodied mouth feel. No added cane sugar, artificial colours or flavourings.

SLACK MA GIRDLE CIDER

Slack Ma Girdle is a premium cider made from a combination of over 50 different specialised cider apple varieties. On the nose it has sweet apple notes with tropical fruit and a hint of straw. Tart apple flavors are accompanied by pineapple, passionfruit and a blend of nuts and spice. All this is rounded off with the trademark Zeffer dry finish. No added cane sugar, artificial colors or flavorings.
